Justice is a very friendly 6 year old retriever. He is a big guy weighing about 85 pounds. He has the typical golden personality. He gets along great with his foster brothers. Justice loves going on walks and is getting better at not pulling on the leash. Justice has been great with free roam of the house. He loves going on car
rides and being a part of the action. Justice could use some basic obedience training but does pick up things quickly. Justice would do great in a home with or without other dogs. Justice would do best in a home without cats. If you are looking for a friendly golden that loves attention then Justice would be a great fit.

He will need a home with no cats.

Justice did test positive for Heartworm and was treated on February 19th. He will have a no activity requirement for 30 days after treatment. He'll be on a low activity regimen for the next 6 months after that. Both the heartworm treatment and blood test after 6 months are paid for by GRFR at one of our contracted vets. Justice's forever family will need to be sure he takes a monthly heartworm preventative year round. Some people might be leery of a dog like Justice who has had heartworm, but there is no need to be. It is both curable and preventable.
