Sweet, handsome Ross is doing great in his foster home and he can't wait to find a forever home of his own. Is this great boy the companion for you?

Ross is a one to two year old neutered male mix. He is house trained and crate trained. He gets along well with the two female dogs in his foster home. He plays fetch and likes chew toys. He has plenty of playful energy, but settles down nicely in the house. He follows foster mom around (even to the bathroom) and loves snuggling and petting. Ross is such a lover!

Ross was cat tested in a home with a very calm, dog-friendly cat that did not run or try to get away. The cat was laying on a bed, and their nose-to-nose greeting went very well.

When Ross arrived, he did not seem to know any basic commands, but he is very smart, eager to learn, and making good progress. We are working on sit, come, and walking on a leash. He is also improving his manners, like jumping up on people and counter surfing. He needs to become more calm and confident when he sees other dogs on leash. A basic obedience class would help Ross develop his skills and confidence, and be a great bonding experience for Ross and his new family. Ross will need a home with a 5 to 6 foot fence.
