Lucy is quite the character. She's an eight year old Golden mix and is a very confident little girl. In her foster home, with four other dogs, she can definitely hold her own. She was nervous when she initially came to us but, she's just one of the gang now. Lucy loves her dog toys and enjoys showing off with them and also shaking and then destroying them. For being a little girl she has a big personality and lots of energy to run and play. She has perfect house manners and would make a great companion for anyone.
Lucy did arrive with some mild allergies but a short round of apoquel and those are cleared up. Her allergies may have been seasonal or they may have been due to the humid climate she came from. Lucy did have a couple of mild seizures and she is currently on a very inexpensive dose of phenobarbital twice a day. She's been seizure free since starting on medication. Her adoptive family will need to follow up with their personal vet for regular blood screenings to make sure she's on the right dose.
