update fro adoptive mother 10/21/18:
Drover is now Bo. Called him that the whole time I was fostering him. He has his dog licence and I have registered him with Home Again. Also has a dog tag with our information on it. Towards the end of the year I'll be updating his immunizations including rabies. Hard to believe in a couple of months he will have been here a year. Guess he was meant to stay here.
**BIO UPDATE** Meet Drover! He is a handsome one year old!
He is a beautiful auburn mix with a lot of energy, but more on the calm side for his age.
Since he has been here with his foster mom and dogs, his indoor manners have greatly improved and he is very responsive to training. He is totally house-trained and quickly caught on to using the doggy door. In fact, he does not like to be crated so a doggy door would be great for him. He can now sit and loves to be petted and loved on. He also does a great "down-stay" while waiting for treats!
He would do best in a home with another playful dog but should go to a home with no cats. He does best when there is someone home more often than not, such as someone who is retired, works from home, or stays at home.
He was on the skinny side when he arrived but, has gained weight and is looking great. He is an all around great dog and would make a wonderful GRFR addition in his forever home.
