Meet Ginger!

Ginger is one of Daisy's puppies. Her birthday is on May 20th, 2008, and she is now six weeks old. We know that Daisy is a purebred golden, but we don't know who the father or fathers are. Ginger is one of the bigger puppies. The puppies can be adopted and go to their new homes when they are eight weeks old.

When the puppies are eight weeks old, they will have received their first set of shots. Puppies need one initial shot and two booster shots before they should go out into public. Puppies should not leave your home or yard or be exposed to any other dogs unless you are certain they have been fully vaccinated and are older than six months. They should not go to parks or Petsmart or anywhere else until they have their last booster shot, as they could contract a potentially lethal virus.

The puppies would be due for their second booster toward the end of July and the last around the end of August. Puppies often need a couple of dewormers and we encourage you to discuss this with your vet.

The adoption fee for each puppy is $250 and the following appointments will be covered if they are done at our vet. GRFR will cover the rabies shot at sixteen weeks and the spay surgery at 5-6 months. The adopter will be contacted by our Vet Coordinator when the time is near.
