Our sweet Lacey passed away suddenly the morning of Sunday, March 28th.  After our usual morning consitutional, she lay down outside on the deck , and was gone soon thereafter.  Lacey was 11 and had been slowing down a lot.  She also had some symptoms of dementia, but we were working through those challenges.  She loved to retrieve (and hold onto) tennis balls and to roll in the snow.  Lacey was only with us for two years - she left us 'way too soon.  We miss her so much, but feel privileged to have been able to share part of her life.
