Ellie is about 1-1/2 years old and a gorgeous, petite, labradoodle. Just look at that adorable face! She might only weigh 42 lbs but she has HUGE personality!
Ellie's foster mom said she is absolutely adorable, very sweet and you cannot help but fall in love with her the moment you meet her. As soon as she got to her foster home, she found the dog toys and seemed so happy to have all those wonderful things to play with! She's been trying to convince her foster sister to play with her and follows her everywhere. She also loves to be near her foster mom and if she's not following Ruby, she's following her foster mom!
If you want a cuddly, lovable young dog then Ellie could be the one for you! She thinks she's a lap dog and is quick to jump up on the couch and cuddle with her foster mom. She gets all snuggly and leans her head on her foster mom as if to say that life is so wonderful now.
Ellie is totally house trained and goes in and out thru the doggy door all on her own. She sleeps the whole night thru and is a good mix of being playful but also calming down for cuddles in the evenings.
Ellie suffered a leg injury prior to coming to GRFR, that went untreated. She has already visited a vet here in Colorado and we're working with the vets to determine the best care. Until we know the course of treatment, she should remain in foster care but please check back for updates!
